Project Meeting and Networking – Lisbon

The Sustainable Historic Districts project meeting took place at Fundação Cidade de Lisboa, in Campo Grande, Lisbon, on the 30th of May 2019. This event was structured around three core sessions: morning session with cities partners presenting their ongoing work and future short/medium term activities, a networking lunch to further engage with Lisbon/Alfama stakeholders, and an afternoon session where all the partner cities teams made presentations on key topics/enablers they are leading.
The objectives of the full day meeting were to understand common goals of the cities, to talk about barriers faced on ongoing activities, being inspired by new ideas and to learn and discuss real opportunities and potential impactful projects for society, enlarging the vision of the individual city projects. In order to accomplish these overarching goals, the morning session included presentations from each of the 4 cities that attended the meeting (Nicosia, Sassari, Savona and Lisbon) on the activities developed until this stage and the way forward with detailed presentation of the task and actions for the next months.
